The eye makeup appears green, but is actually all yellow. The green contacts further this illusion.

Hair

I didn't write down any notes on the hair. It appears to be a volumized ponytail with a straight fringe in all black, possibly with very dark green highlights.

A close-up of the male dancer ensemble. I tried to keep the makeup relatively subtle. It was a bit difficult to choose a hair colour, but I eventually settled on Walnut... I think.

I picked Walnut because it felt almost unbearably cute for some reason. I could've gone with a darker colour... but kept coming back to Walnut. To be frank, it was really hard to decide on a hair colour for this.

Style Savvy: Reload Blast

A few days ago I started playing the demo of Style Savvy: Styling Star... I was almost shocked that the demo was already out, I was thinking in terms of Nintendo's usual delays. I figured... next year, maybe. But here it is! I've replayed it multiple times already. While I started out just making another character that sort of looked like me, as I was selecting the droopy eyes... I noticed a similarity to a familiar character...

Behold! Female Genjo Sanzo. Maybe all he needed to cure his grouchiness was for his worst nightmare to come true. Now he'll have to spend the rest of his life fighting off a certain horny water sprite. Uahahahaha...

Don't smile like that, Female Sanzo, people will think you've lost your mind. Where's the cranky bastard we all know and... love(??)...?

So, yes... Winceworthy as it is, I really did have a genderbent Genjo Sanzo running around my demo version in charge of a boutique named Saiyuki. Running around monkeyless. Totally monkeyless. Where is the monkey? Nothing fun happens without the monkey. (Maybe that's why s/he's smiling so serenely...)

I had a lot of fun with the demo... I'm just a little frustrated that Nintendo is opting for no retail version in North America. I'm really not fond of the push towards digital only.

After the End of Miiverse

Well, Miiverse is definitively gone now. I watched it shut down that night, but didn't post anything here right away. There's a lot going on in my life right now, so this stuff isn't exactly a priority at the moment. (My basement flooded and I got terribly sick again, so my life is kind of a bit derailed for the time being...)

I was in the habit of saving all of my own posts manually, but near the end there, I internet-binged for a few days saving other posts I thought were interesting, and taking screencaps of contests and conversations. I was thinking of posting a few of them here at some point... Although I'm not sure about how that works when it comes to other people's privacy... ha ha... Oh well.

I might catch up with a few very belated 'Goodbye Miiverse' posts from time to time. Or maybe I should just accept the timeframe I usually work within and call it 'Remembering Miiverse'...
