Closeup. I'm pretty sure this outfit doesn't plsy by the rules of the game at all, but I don't care. ^^ The make-up makes a lot of use of the Glamorous Garnet and Antique Rose colours.

I'm not totally clear on the makeup since I wasn't in the habit of keeping complete notes on makeup before removing it.

Personal notes:
Jeff is most memorable to me for being one of the very first males to brave entering Arabella's all-pink domain... and then become a repeat customer buying the Galactic Ranger makeup set over and over. Subsequently he brought in first Aurora and then another girl (?) to buy the Fairy Apple makeup set, and was accused of being "an expert" (concerning makeup!)... but always seems to return for space-themed makeup sets whenever I put them out on display. I have no idea how many times he's come back to buy Galactic Ranger. Makes me wish the game kept track of customers' purchase history...

Personal notes:
Memorable to me because it's become an in-joke with myself about dating her, due to various events. ("Why do I always fall for the florists?") A long-time customer at this point. There's a lot of backstory to record with Selma...

I had her in (what I thought was) beautiful Champagne makeup there for a while, matching a beige/champagne feminine outfit I was particularly pleased with... I really wish I'd taken full pictures... I've been thinking of cosplaying as Selma's previous look WITH Selma, as if things weren't weird enough already.

Celebration Pink eyeshadow, Antique Door eyeliner, Jet Black mascara (long), On-Air Ash contacts, no blush, matte Ruby lipstick.

Personal notes:
Memorable for my ruining her hair with a grey mushroom cut... Also memorable for talking about mushrooms and meat at The Meadows instead of cutesy stuff... while wearing said mushroom cut. Also also for being another one of those characters who gives the impression of being much older than she really is. (Grey hair doesn't help that image.)

Cherie accompanying her friend Ambra to go get some heavy gothic makeup. Both are in their default looks.

Miscellaneous updates:
Around midnight of the 14th of October, 2017, I finally managed to change Cherie's hair from that grey mushroom cut to something half-decent! Now I just have to dig up a picture.

Anjali (SSFF Character)

Profile: Loves the hustle and bustle of big cities.
Default style: Bold

Taste notes:
She appears to really like check patterns. Normally wears Bold, but she bought a Preppy outfit from my shop's mannequin before. I'm not sure if it was just the pattern...

Personal notes:
I usually dress her in purple, but that's just my thing. I've been throwing Bold outfits at her (successfully) for quite some time, since for a long time my shop was solidly Bold, and I seem to keep coming back to that and Gothic as my defaults.
Anjali once bought a regal or military-themed Preppy outfit and commented very strongly on the check pattern. Interestingly, when buying it, if I remember correctly, she acted like a much older lady passing herself off as "young-looking"... and yet her "job" is student... I'm still not sure if she bought it just because it was check, or if she really will take Preppy things.

She commented strongly on the check pattern, so I'm assuming that's what appealed to her. The inner (not visible) may have also been check patterned... Hmm. Different customers definitely have particular tastes, but it's hard to test for them.

No idea. She appears to mostly be into the Psychedelic style with some elements of Lively, but I'm still not sure how much into Lively she is. I neglected to write down any notes of colours she liked the few times I've served her as a customer.

I've only changed her outfit once or twice. I actually tend to avoid her as a customer for fear of changing that nice default look of hers... I've always been taken with her default look. That weird mint green natural side ponytail with that jacket and the weird top and pants...

By far and away she's come in asking for full outfits in the broadest variety of styles of any customer I've dealt with in the game.

Personal notes:
Preeya is very memorable to me because she's probably come in for the most diverse array of requests for full outfits of all the customers I've dealt with in the game. While her default style is Babydoll, she's been through a wide variety of others, including Bold, Psychedelic, and Eastern. Probably one of my most long-term customers. Preeya is also memorable for being the origin of my Sea Cucumber wig... and for continuing to wear that weird blue hairstyle for a long, long time. Actually, as of the date of first publishing this post, she's still in it. (I suppose it's my fault for leaving it that way...) Also, it's interesting that her hobby is "going to concerts" and a number of her outfit requests have actually had something to do with this or music in general... so it looks as if some characters' requests may not be as thoughtless and random as I thought. (See "Lady with no necklaces"...)

Likes minimal patterns... although her definition of that seems to be a little odd. She has a ridiculously high budget, so she can buy pretty much anything you put together for her. She will readily buy whole Purple Moon genie costumes and wear them to formal events.

Adelaide is an important character in the game who more or less plays the role of 'final boss'...

Where do I even begin? I discovered in the summer of 2017 that she would buy whole Purple Moon genie costumes for her weekly outfit requests. This was not only extremely amusing but terribly lucrative.

Ada (SSFF Character)

Profile: A mysterious girl. Feels truly at home in The Meadows.
Default style: Babydoll

Taste notes: 
Thoroughly Babydoll, mainly Marble Lily's Sweet Lolita style, I think...

Character notes: 
Ada is the 'mascot' character of The Meadows, and making her over is required in order to unlock the area. She can most often be found there, and will often remain there after all of the other characters visiting there have been talked to and left.

Memorability: ☆☆☆☆☆

Personal Notes: 
Memorable to me because I basically turned her into a magical unicorn-girl cosplay... Only to later wreck her look by turning her hair green. As the mascot character for The Meadows, she doesn't come into the boutique often, and even less often the hair salon, so I regret changing her look again at all. This all occurred early on in my game, before I got into posting anything on Miiverse, so I don't have much documentation of what my experience with her actually was.

Under Construction

I'm currently working on filling out the various parts of this blog, starting with the character profiles. There isn't much to see here yet, but I've got a lot of stuff waiting to be posted, so I might not end up following my usual pattern and just kind of... quietly failing.
